TFA’s 2025 Breakout XI: Jessica Husband Scouting Report At Heart Of Midlothian – Data Analysis

Eight “alternates” or “bench players” who nearly made the cut for a complete scouting report in the magazine are included in Total Football Analysis’ Breakout XI for 2025.

A mini-data analysis will still be conducted on those participants.

Jessica Husband of Hearts Women, who plays in the SWPL, is our substitute right-back.

Many people are taking notice of the 16-year-old Heart of Midlothian defender, who is a fascinating new talent.

Husband has primarily played as a right wing-back so far, but he can play on either side of the defense.

Her main crossing zones and the locations of those crosses are depicted in the visualization below.

Jessica’s attacking prowess is demonstrated by her three goals and five assists this season.

According to the image above, a significant portion of Jessica’s crosses have fallen in hazardous locations.

With nearly equal success from both wings, she crosses from the right side closer to the byline than the left.

Jessica is in the top 10 for that metric, with 3.28 touches in the box per 90 minutes.

Her defensive plays have generally taken place in the wide mid-to-final third, demonstrating her exceptional ball-recovery skills. She is also primarily playing in this area.

Husband also does a respectable job of carrying the ball, scoring 2.97 Progressive runs every 90 minutes.

She wins a lot of duels on defense; in fact, she wins 70% of them, demonstrating her proficiency in 1v1 defense.

One of the newest and most talented players to emerge from the Scottish Women’s Premier League is Jessica Husband.

She is definitely a player to keep an eye on in 2025 for a variety of reasons, some of which are mentioned above; it will be interesting to see where she ends up at the end of the year.
