Ken started by asking about Strahinja Pavlovic, a defender for AC Milan that they acquired for £15 million in the summer.
During the January transfer window, Leicester City is at last making some moves. The question of whether they could afford to make any acquisitions lingered for a while. However, the Foxes may now finally be active thanks to recent funding infusions from a variety of sources.
From Leicester’s perspective, the defense is the best place to start. They have given up 48 Premier League goals this season. Only Southampton and Wolves have given up more goals, so this is a terrible record.
Of course, having a football IQ higher than ten would have prevented many of Leicester’s goals from being given away. James Justin, who has been a total defensive liability all season, is the person I’m implying, in case you couldn’t guess who I am.
However, none of the other Leicester defenders have exactly been spectacular either. Therefore, the back-line should definitely be where Ruud van Nistelrooy focuses his emphasis for the balance of this month.
A report from the Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Leicester City has made an inquiry regarding AC Milan’s Strahinja Pavlovic’s services. They are not alone, though, as Stuttgart is also vying for the Serbian defender at this point in the competition.
The center defender Strahinja Pavlovic is only 23 years old. He would thus be a signing at King Power Stadium with an eye toward the future. Since AC Milan paid £15 million to get him from RB Salzburg in the summer, it is obvious that he has what it takes to play for a major European team.
Pavlovic is not pleased at AC Milan, though. This is because his minutes have been steadily decreasing.
