Talk of a Goodison Park exodus is causing Everton to make a “imminent” decision on £728 million worth star player

Journalist Ben Jacobs claims that Vernon will be in a better position to decide Jarrad Branthwaite’s future after they receive the results of their “imminent” points decision.

Following an outstanding season at Goodison Park, Branthwaite has been mentioned as a target by Manchester United, Real Madrid, and even Liverpool in recent weeks.

Everton’s 10-point deduction, which they have appealed and are awaiting a decision on, hasn’t helped them in their Premier League relegation battle.

“Everton’s exit strategy will be determined by whether or not they’re in the Premier League next season,” Jacobs said to GiveMeSport on February 23. Therefore, once we learn the outcome of their appeal, which has been on the horizon for some time, everything will become much clearer.

“They will be in a much better position to plan for the summer once they find out if they have some or all of the points back.”

“They definitely don’t want to lose [James] Garner, and the same is true for Branthwaite and [Amadou] Onana. However, something will have to go, particularly if they aren’t in the Premier League the following year.

Everton star Jarrad Branthwaite is wanted for a transfer.

It’s astonishing that the appeal verdict has taken this long—not just for Everton, but for all of their relegation rivals as well.

The Toffees will be in a significantly stronger position than they are at the moment if, say, all 10 points are restored.

It goes without saying that Everton will have to trade one or more of their great players if the worst happens and they get demoted.

Since Branthwaite falls within that group and there are plenty of suitors, his price tag shouldn’t be too high.

No matter the outcome of the points deduction, Sean Dyche will undoubtedly be able to keep Everton in the league, therefore let’s not worry about losing Branthwaite or any other players.

As part of a better future, the Toffees will instead aim to solidify their position on the field, complete the takeover, and bolster their current roster.
