Manager discusses Rangers’ most recent transfer and impending debut.

Jose Cifuentes was one of the players that Rangers let go in January after Philippe Clement deemed them surplus to requirements.

The Ecuadorian international was given an opportunity by the Gers manager to establish himself in the starting lineup, and he was beginning to show signs of improvement until injury and suspension struck, pushing him even further down the hierarchy with the arrival of Mohamed Diomande.

His departure from Rangers was officially announced, but manager Nicolás Larcamon has since clarified that he has a work visa to play for Cruzeiro. This was uncertain until recently.

Rangers lose. The way is clear for Jose Cifuentes to play.

With an option to buy included in the contract, perhaps Cifu will earn consistent playing time.

The more he performs, the more likely it is that they will choose to exercise that option and the more money Philippe Clement will have available.

Brazil’s season falls within the calendar year, therefore the additional cash might be used during the January window of the following year.

Prior to this weekend’s matchup with Pousa Alegre, Larcamon provided the following explanation for the delay:

Jose Cifuentes is now registered to play with the Brazilian FA after receiving his permit.

“We’re excited about what he can provide the team. The loan is valid until December, when Cruzeiro will decide how to proceed with him.

After consenting to the deal, he has also been in limbo for the past three weeks.

Despite the fact that Cifuentes has returned to his “home” in Los Angeles, the transfer took several weeks to complete after it was agreed upon.

But if Jose Cifuentes is healthy, there’s no reason he can’t work his way onto Cruzeiro’s bench and revive a career that fell apart after he joined the Rangers.

Although he is a skilled player, he never really seemed to fit in Glasgow, with the main obstacle being adjusting to a completely new playing style and system.

Regarding his international fame and MLS background, Cifuentes is still well-liked.

Rangers will benefit by signing him when his Los Angeles FC contract was about to expire since the market value of an Ecuadorian international midfield player is far higher than the £1.2 million that we allegedly paid for his services.

Hopefully, he will be able to get going more quickly than when he arrived at Ibrox.
