REPORT: Green Bay Packers HC Makes 1 Massive Decision For 2024 NFL Draft; Snubs NFL.

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur addressed a big decision on his coaching staff’s plans for the pre-draft process this week. LaFleur made a couple announcements during the Packers press conference on Thursday.

LaFleur’s main news regarded new defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley. Hafley will execute a new plan with the Packers’ talented roster on defense. LaFleur also raised some heads when he stated the Packers stole quarterbacks coach Sean Mannion away from the Chicago Bears in January.

LaFleur’s staff will be charged to establish a plan for the 2024 NFL Draft in the following several weeks. But LaFleur made an unexpected pick for the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine. Per Matt Schneidman with The Athletic, LaFleur indicated he and his staff will not be at the combine. LaFleur’s staff was not at the combine in 2023 but was present in 2022.

Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst will be in attendance at the combine.
