‘I Just Think’ – Mark Warburton Makes Rangers Prediction In Title Race.
Former Rangers manager Mark Warburton believes the Gers can beat Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title this season.
Rangers currently lead the Scottish Premiership standings with two points.
They were eight points behind Celtic when Philippe Clement took over the team in October, and he has orchestrated a stunning turnaround in recent months.
There are two Old Firm games remaining this season, but Warburton believes his former side will win the Scottish Premiership title.
He underlined that Celtic are still a large club headed by a talented manager such as Brendan Rodgers, but believes Rangers have the momentum and belief to do the job in the coming month.
On the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast, the former Rangers manager predicted the team’s victory.
“Brendan has done an excellent job, and Celtic is a massive club.
“But I just think the momentum is with Rangers, the belief is with Rangers and the fanbase believes and when that place is rocking, there is no place like it in modern football.”
Rangers may lead by five points when Celtic face Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday.
