Last minute Manchester United attempt to snatch Brighton player from Ipswich Town’s clutches

In an attempt to grab Julio Enciso from Ipswich Town, Manchester United made a last-minute move to sign him from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tuttomercatoweb claims that Manchester United made a last-minute attempt to sign him in order to replace Alejandro Garnacho.

They clarify that Enciso, whom Brighton is willing to allow go on loan this month, had been considered for Atalanta. They looked at him multiple times and contemplated a transfer, but Brighton made a loan agreement with Ipswich while they were debating it.

A number of clubs have been outplayed by them, including Valencia and Borussia Dortmund.

Since he will be a homegrown player next season after joining in 2022, Brighton would have preferred to keep him in the Premier League. Ipswich is therefore the perfect answer. The midfielder has also been persuaded to join them over rivals by Kieran McKenna, who has called him to do so.

However, Manchester United reportedly made a last-minute approach. They saw Enciso as a possible Garnacho replacement and reached out to Brighton to discuss a move. His move to Napoli is becoming closer.

Even though the move to Ipswich was agreed upon, an attempt was made; nevertheless, there was no time, and he will be joining McKenna’s team.

Journalist Christian Martin supports this, offering information on the subject in an interview with Versus of Paraguay.

“I can tell you that a call from Manchester United arrived at the last minute yesterday,” he stated.

Julio was considered by Manchester United as a possible successor in the event that Garnacho left for Napoli or another team; Garnacho had a falling out with Amorim, and there are other clubs interested.

“The circumstances are different in the club where he grew up. Garnacho has been playing as a youth player for many years, and the United board called him right away to try Julio.”

“Thank you, but no thank you, I want to play,” was the Paraguayan’s response. Julio turns 21 tomorrow, and we are already discussing a Paraguayan boy who is competing in the world’s most competitive league for his future. He wants to play from the beginning, so he really wants to turn down Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United, and Valencia.
