The loss of a “loving daughter, big and little sister” has crushed Seren’s family, they said.

The family of a teenage girl who passed away at a rugby club due to a medical issue has honored her.

When emergency personnel were contacted last Friday, 14-year-old Seren Jenkins was at the Amman United Rugby Club in Carmarthenshire.

Her family described Seren, from Tycroes, Ammanford, as “a loving daughter, big and little sister,” and said they were “devastated” by her passing.

“Seren lived her short life to the full and was a budding artist, rugby player and social media lover,” they stated.

In a statement, they also said, “Seren was loved by all who knew her and will undoubtedly also be remembered for her sense of humor.”

Those who contributed to a fundraiser for Seren and those who offered “their kind words and support at this horrific time” were thanked by the family.

The Wales Air Ambulance, various asthma services, “and a possible memorial for her friends to remember her” were the likely recipients of the funds, they said.
