Ohio State Announces Contract Extensions For Tim Walton, Jim Knowles, Multiple Others
Four of the assistant coaches for the Ohio State Buckeyes have been extended through the 2025 campaign. Contract extensions were granted to Jim Knowles, the defensive coordinator, tight ends coach Keenan Bailey, and defensive line coach Larry Johnson of the Buckeyes. The length of these re-ups varied, but they always guaranteed that each coach would remain with the Scarlet and Gray until at least the 2025 campaign. Tim Walton, the former coach of the cornerbacks, was also elevated to assistant head coach. Walton will remain in Columbus through 2026 thanks to a two-year contract extension that accompanied the ascension.
