Cammy Devlin plots Rangers revenge as Hearts star targets Ibrox win

Hearts are seeking retribution against Rangers, according to Cammy Devlin, following their heartbreaking October stoppage-time loss.

Prior to James Tavernier’s double in the last seconds saving the day for the home team, the Jambos were headed for an unprecedented triumph at Ibrox. After four months, Steven Naismith’s team has changed drastically, winning 11 of their last 12 games. With a commanding 14-point advantage over Kilmarnock in third place, the Tynecastle team now has a tantalizing triple-header against Rangers, Hibs, and Celtic. And as the Jam Tarts try to get closer to the Old Firm, Australian midfielder Devlin is sure they can defeat anyone.
“We were very close to getting a result at Ibrox last time,” he stated. Getting there

and improving one step at a time will be our main goal. It’s been amazing since Steven Naismith took over as gaffer. As it’s a project, quality work requires time. It takes time for the lessons they have been instilling in us as players to truly materialize.
However, I think the team’s resiliency is much stronger now. I believe the substitutes who have replaced me during my two-month absence have had a significant impact. We’ve scored a lot of goals in the second half.

“The guys are defying gravity, and those are the messages from above. Additionally, while the season is still ongoing, it’s important to avoid becoming complacent. Thus yet, we have not taken any action.

and there is still much to be done. We’re at a good place right now, but we need to move on and not just sit there and be happy because it could lead to other problems. We witnessed the events of the previous year, but now is the time to seize the opportunity and widen the gap as much as possible.”
