Could Philippe Clement have given away a signal about his length of stay with the Rangers?
There have been some questions raised concerning Philippe Clement’s situation at Rangers since he argues that his best playing years were spent in two- to three-year contracts with teams.
After defeating St Johnstone 3-0, the Gers opened up a two-point lead in the Scottish Premiership, and the dynamic Belgian manager has guided the team back to the top.
After the game, Clement made it apparent that his team’s only goal is to get better every week and is not concerned with maintaining their position as the league leaders.
The former manager of KRC Genk, Club Brugge, and AS Monaco’s most recent soundbites, in keeping with his normal manner, had a centered and peaceful effect on Rangers as a team.

“We want to improve every week and every month,” Clement stated. “We strive to make every game better, but it’s impossible to achieve that.
“To grow as people, as a team, to improve, to adjust to situations, and to gain experience together.
“I played for a team for two or three years, and that was my best period as a player because you learn from experiences—both good and bad—and you improve as a result of maturing. And in order to gain experiences, that is what our team is doing.
It might have been more challenging today if the Dumbarton game hadn’t happened in the cup. You gain knowledge from every experience, so that’s excellent. Right now, the boys are acting like sponges, soaking up all the information and acting appropriately when we need them to.
“So this is what I want. This is what I’m going to be really tough on also. That I want to see an ambitious team who wants to become better and better and not looking at others, just at ourselves.”

Concerning whether or whether this is only the beginning for the Rangers, Philippe Clement was also questioned.
Rangers have made an incredible comeback in just four months after taking over the Ibrox, winning the League Cup, making it to the Europa League Last 16, and currently leading the Scottish Premiership.

It’s evident that they have all grown throughout the past few months, without exception, so yes, we will invest heavily in them with the help of our entire staff, and they will also spend heavily in the group and in themselves because every day they are all incredibly dedicated and diligent.
Thus, during the course of these four months, I had no issues with that. No, it’s a very important issue because that was the first time in a team that I had never had to smack someone for being unmotivated or unfocused. However, everyone feels as like they are part of a unique story, and it has the potential to be quite unique.
Philippe Clement joined Rangers as manager in October 2023, and his contract with the team is slated to run until the summer of 2027, according to Sky Sports.
Even though Philippe Clement isn’t in any danger of leaving ship just yet, history suggests that we should cherish him while we can if the Belgian keeps up this trend.
Perhaps three years is about right as well.
