Nils Koppen uploaded a rocket emoji on his X account in response to Mohamed Diomande’s goal that gave Rangers a 3-0 victory over St Johnstone.
The goal, which gave Rangers’ side a 1-0 lead for the day, was a strike from about 20 yards that sailed into the net before the
goalie could even dive to reach it. Rangers shared the video of the play with Sky Sports.
After spending such little time in blue, the director of football will rightfully be delighted of the contribution Diomande has made. He was instrumental in bringing the midfield player to Ibrox.
They will be happy that Diomande has started to fit in, considering the money that was spent at Ibrox to bring him to the team.
Rangers’ first goal of the match set them up for a crucial victory that has allowed them to pass Celtic at the top of the SPFL.
