Swansea City : Sorry Luke, but this simply isn’t working
In the Welsh derby this afternoon, Swansea City played their way into their typical game of inconsistency, poor play, and total negativity. poor quality and tactically incompetent, as we have witnessed throughout most of the season. The ball was either given away or negatively passed rearward each time it was received. Franco had one chance in the first half, but he missed the mark. It was disgusting how weak the crosses into the Cardiff area were. And a side that exploited the Swans’ startling flaws in their play by passing the ball won this game.
The Swans appeared disoriented and without in ideas, even after Cardiff took a 2-0 lead following a pitiful back pass. Yes, Cardiff was finally able to shake off the humiliation of the previous decade in this match, but Swansea’s ridiculous attitude, which prevented them from even blocking a challenge and picking up the second phase of play, ruined the match. The Swans’ defense started to open up, and scuttling players lost because they were the team with little drive or ambition. We saw no players who performed well, thus we are unable to identify any.
How can you, given how incompetent and humiliating the team is?
We could go on, but Luke Williams needs to leave after repeatedly bumping into the opposition, tripping and falling, and being utterly oblivious to their surroundings.
