Micah Parsons Reveals His Request To Jerry Jones

Since joining the Dallas Cowboys in 2021, Micah Parsons has helped the team do enough to qualify for the postseason in each of his three seasons with the organization.

Parsons understands the Cowboys still have a lot of work ahead of them, though, given the team has lost all three of these postseason games and failed to win the NFC Championship.
In an interview with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, Parsons disclosed that he actually spoke with Jerry Jones, the owner of Dallas, at the Super Bowl regarding the kinds of players the team ought to be bringing into camp in preparation for the following season (via Kevin Gray Jr. via Twitter).

We simply sat and chatted about guys I wanted to bring in, players I wanted to be around, who I needed, who I wanted to be with, and the future of our squad from before the game to the end of the first half.
With a 12-5 record at the end of the previous season, Parsons and the Cowboys captured the NFC East title for the second time in the previous three years.

Sadly, they lost to the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the playoffs, ending their postseason run.

Dallas is aware that they have the talent to succeed because they have concluded the last three regular seasons with a 12-5 record.

But for whatever reason, the Cowboys’ regular-season success is completely irrelevant when it comes to their postseason performance.

Will Dallas be able to overcome its current struggles in 2024 with the help of Parsons’ pleas to Jones, or will they continue to lose sight of their identity when they line up for another postseason game?
