Aston Villa need to pay £40-50 million to sign highly-rated 19-year-old attacker The Hard Tackle

Red Bull Salzburg want £40-50 million to sell Oscar Gloukh amid Aston Villa links

Oscar Gloukh of Red Bull Salzburg might be acquired by Aston Villa for approximately £40–50 million.

Oscar Gloukh, a talented player for Red Bull Salzburg, will cost Premier League team Aston Villa between £40 and £50 million. Football Insider claims that the Austrian powerhouses may be prepared to cash in on the highly regarded 19-year-old.

Who is Oscar Gloukh?

The Israeli midfielder left Maccabi Tel Aviv to join Salzburg in 2023, and his performances have already garnered high praise.

Gloukh, who is already a full international for Israel, seems to be advancing quickly toward success.

It would hurt Red Bull Salzburg much to lose Gloukh in January. However, they have not benefited from their group stage elimination from the UEFA Champions League. The Austrian powerhouses might struggle to hang on to their teenage phenomenon as a number of elite teams from throughout Europe have expressed interest.

An attacking midfielder, Gloukh is an overwhelming force going forward. With six goals and six assists across all competitions this season, it has been an excellent first 25 games for Salzburg. Still just 19, he has plenty of years to step up his game and take it to a higher level.

Aston Villa Next For Gloukh?

Aston Villa have enjoyed a fine start to the Premier League campaign and are now the surprise package in the title race. Unai Emery’s side have a dynamic frontline but will benefit from the addition of a versatile attacker who can play down the centre. The Philippe Coutinho experiment did not work, while Emiliano Buendia is a long-term absentee. So, it is time that the Villans bring in someone new.

Adding the right player in January will continue to give Emery the push he needs. Liverpool will lose out on the services of Mohamed Salah thanks to AFCON and with a trip to Villa Park yet to come, the Midlands side have a solid pedestal on which to build further this season.

While the Israeli international does the most damage in a No.10 role, he can also operate as a false nine, a centre-midfielder or even out wide. Nicolo Zaniolo has been both a hit and a miss this season. But securing Gloukh will be a coup of sorts for Villa and will future proof the number 10 position for years to come.
