Thanking Ryan Day, Bill O’Brien Talks About Moving Boston College
Over the past two weeks, the Ohio State Buckeyes have encountered an uncommon circumstance. Bill O’Brien was hired by the Buckeyes last month to serve as their offensive coordinator. Ryan Day is anticipated to relinquish play-calling duties to the veteran coach come 2024. But three weeks later, O’Brien was already leaving Columbus to take over as head coach of Boston College, and Day turned to Chip Kelly, the head coach of UCLA, to take his position.

In addition, O’Brien expressed gratitude to Day for his compassion and patience during the process at his Boston press conference.
