Naturally, the pressure to perform increases year after year for what is undoubtedly the most well-liked team in the country.
Micah Parsons, a rusher for EDGE, recently asserted that Dak Prescott has the most difficult job in America because of this.
Naturally, ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith pleaded with us to think otherwise.
The genuine Cowboys critic stated on First Take that he would be happy to return to Micah Parsons’ program to refute that assertion.
He mentioned how the Cowboys consistently had a strong offense throughout the regular season before Prescott goes off a cliff
and underperforms in the playoffs, so it’s not like his teammates or coaches are making his job any easier.
Smith also remarked that other quarterbacks have difficult jobs, yet they still perform when it matters most.
Dak Prescott is coming off his greatest season yet.
Throughout the regular season, he proved his naysayers wrong by making play after play, throw after throw.
He didn’t even have to be a scrambler or utilize his feet as much as he did before his season-ending injury years ago, which was always a criticism on him.
So, the talent is obviously there.
This includes play design, strategizing, play-calling, and skill players.
That is why there should be no tolerance for excuses during the playoffs.
He needs to get it done.
