If Ohio State football is going to do one thing, it’s recruit. The Buckeyes haven’t lost a beat in recruiting even in the last few years
during their downturn (yes, even if they have been winning 10–11 games a year, it’s still a down era by their standards).
In addition to having one of the top transfer portal classes in the nation, Ohio State has just inked one of the top recruiting classes
for the 2024 cycle.The Buckeyes are now concentrating on the class of 2025.
Five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez is one of the top commits for Ohio State football in the 2025 class. Sanchez is one of the best
players in the class and has made the decision to play for the Ohio State University.Sanchez recently shared on Twitter that he is looking forward to his upcoming time in Columbus.
Devin Sanchez is a terrific addition for the Buckeyes in the 2025 cycle, and it appears that he is an avid admirer of Ohio State.
Though flips do happen, he still has plenty of time to choose his college, and Ohio State is currently in a strong position.
Sanchez is rated as the #6 player in the 2025 class, the #2 CB, and the #2 player in the state of Texas by 247 Sports, which makes him a five-star prospect. At the moment, Sanchez is a junior at Houston, Texas’ Lake Shore High School.
Don’t be surprised if some of those big schools in his home state try to get him to back out of his commitment.
It’s reasonable to expect that the Buckeyes will continue to recruit in 2025 given the manner they have done in recent years. Sanchez’s dedication is undoubtedly raising the class ranking.
Based on recruitment rankings, Ohio State has always had one of the best teams in the nation, but it has now been three years since they have won the Big Ten and four since they have defeated rival Michigan (the two teams did not play in 2020).
With all the quality the Buckeyes are acquiring, Ryan Day must figure out how to lead his team back to the summit of the NCAA football standings.
