2009 saw the death of Henry’s father following a domestic fight that resulted in him falling out of the back of a moving truck. Henry Jr. and his siblings were taken in by former West Virginia teammate Adam “Pacman” Jones, who also assisted Henry Jr. with the recruiting process after his passing. In the end, the younger Henry chose Ohio State over several other schools, including USC, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, and more. Additionally, West Virginia, the university where his late father was selected in the NFL Draft, gave him top consideration right away.
