Kris Boyd slams Connor Goldson, Rangers hero has smile wiped off face at Ibrox v Ross County

Kris Boyd lashes out Rangers star Connor Goldson has wiped his smile at Ibrox vs. Ross County.

At Ibrox, Rangers defender Connor Goldson had a chance to handle the situation better when Simon Murray of Ross County equalized.

Kris Boyd claims that after Cyriel Dessers gave the hosts the lead in the league game on Wednesday, February 13, the latter equalized for the Staggies.

But before the half, the Ibrox summer acquisition gave the home team a lead again, and John Souttar sealed the victory in the closing moments.

Boyd stated, “This is why we love football,” on Sky Sports News on February 14 at 8:15 p.m. “Yan Dhanda is playing really well; he just flicks it over the top, Eamonn Brophy is playing well, and Connor Goldson should probably be doing better.”

“However, he fires a ball across, and Simon Murray finishes brilliantly to put it past Jack Butland. The smiles vanished from their faces, 1-1.

Rangers end their game at Ibrox.

This season, Goldson has proven to be a dependable performer for Philippe Clement. The center back had mostly established a strong relationship with Leon Balogun, but with Balogun’s injury problems, Goldson is currently playing with John Souttar.

The home team had the better of the first forty-five minutes, so the defenders will have been dismayed to let their guard down and give up a goal in the first half against the Staggies.

Although Ross County deserves a lot of credit for persevering in the face of persistent pressure from the hosts, Clement wouldn’t have seen things that way.

The Belgian will be quite upset at missing out on a clean sheet, especially considering how the goal was preventable.

Naturally, Goldson, the central defender, cannot take all the blame because other teammates also contributed to the scoreless play that Murray made when he found the back of the net to tie the game.

In other Rangers news, Dean Jones has forecast a “slugfest” between the Gers and Celtic based on his observations in the Scottish Premiership.
