TBR Football has learned that Millwall are interested in signing Jeffrey Schlupp as a replacement for the England U20 international, albeit facing competition.

Graeme Bailey, Chief Correspondent at TBR Football, has learned that the Hamburg-born player may depart Crystal Palace this month before his contract expires in June.

We understand that San Diego FC and Charlotte FC are interested in signing Schlupp, and Millwall is also interested in speaking with the 32-year-old.

According to sources, Millwall’s fondness for the dynamic midfielder is unlikely to have an impact on the Esse deal, which is a separate transfer.

Schlupp, who joined Crystal Palace from Leicester City in January 2017, has made 246 appearances, scoring 19 goals and providing 15 assists. Odsonne Edouard, who was loaned to Leicester City in August, has only played 26 minutes of Premier League football this season.
