Alan Shearer and Gary Lineker have slammed the “messy” situation Everton find themselves in with another points deduction potentially on the cards following the result of their appeal against the first one.
Lineker began by implying that Everton is now in a concerning scenario with the possibility of a points deduction hanging over them after going seven Premier League games without a victory.

Everton appeal verdict will come soon
The result of Everton’s appeal against the Premier League’s 10-point deduction for violating Profit and Sustainability regulations should be known soon enough, since most analysts believe they may receive some of those points back.
They will not have to wait long to find out the outcome of the verdict, as it is expected to be announced in the middle of February. Additionally, according to a different report, it should be completed before to the clash with Crystal Palace on February 19.
