Prefer being here’: £10m player suggests he’s so glad that he left Nottingham Forest in the summer

I’ve been to Selhurst Park twice.Last season, I was on the away team when I played here. I much enjoy being here and being on the home side.”

Forest need to find a buyer for Turner in the summer

The hope among the Forest fan base will be that Palace buy Turner. Although there is little prospect of recovering the £10 million the club spent on the goalie, he has no future at Forest. For Forest, Turner was very helpless. His passing was dreadful for a modern-day goalie, and he made some well-known mistakes in games against Brentford, Manchester United, and Liverpool.Turner played 21 games for Forest, giving up 31 goals and keeping just three clean sheets. His performances demonstrated why Arsenal never really gave him an opportunity in goal. Turner’s remark is not particularly shocking. It must annoy him a little that the team has started this season after he left, even though he will undoubtedly know in his heart that his time with Forest is gone.
