Manager fully believes 24-year-old will leave Rangers permanently in the summer.

Cruzeiro manager Nicolas Larcamon believes Rangers’ flop Jose Cifuentes will leave Ibrox permanently in the summer.

Michael Beale signed the Ecuadorian from LAFC for a fee of £1.2 million for the 2023/24 season.

Fans were enthusiastic about the potential of Cifuentes joining the Rangers, as highlight tapes of his time in America circulated on social media.
Cifuentes was not warmly received by the supporters, and Philippe Clement is also not fond of his defensive midfielder.

According to Transfer market, he started 14 of his 20 matches for Gers before being dropped by Clement. He later joined Cruzeiro in the Brazilian Serie A.

The agreement is a loan until the end of the season with the option to buy, and Cruzeiro manager Larcamon has spoken to the

press about whether he believes the club will sign Cifuentes permanently.

According to Mark Walker, a freelance journalist for the Daily Record, Nicolas Larcamon stated, “The deal is complete.”

We have the option of purchasing Jose Cifuentes at the end of his loan, and I am confident that will happen.

He is a very complete player who will contribute significantly to the club.

“Jose has numerous strengths in his game. He is very comfortable on the ball and will also offer aggression to the team.

“He will significantly improve our midfield. He will be a valuable addition to the squad, and we aim to get him on board as soon as possible.”
