Everton’s starting lineup against Man City is expected, but Sean Dyche decides to change it due to Amadou Onana’s decision.

On Saturday (12.30 GMT), Everton will visit Manchester City in the Premier League in what is likely to be their hardest match of the year. It is not necessary to remind the Toffees of how difficult it will be to get a result at Etihad Stadium. After winning the Triple Crown the previous season, Pep Guardiola’s club is largely considered to be the finest in the world, and they are aiming for a fourth straight league championship.

Everton, on the other hand, is currently languishing in the relegation zone after losing ten points due to a violation of the profit and sustainability regulations. They are waiting to see if their punishment will be lessened after their appeal hearing.

Despite having a diminished squad, Sean Dyche’s team managed two brave draws against Fulham and Tottenham last week despite not having won in the top division since before Christmas. Arnaut Danjuma, Andre Gomes, and Abdoulaye Doucoure are all out due to injury, and Amadou Onana is still questionable.

Everton can be encouraged by their 1-1 draw with City from the previous campaign, but their 3-1 loss at Goodison Park earlier this year was clouded in controversy as Onana gave up a penalty for a handball at close range. If Dyche wants the Toffees to go back to Merseyside with all three points or a share of the spoils, he has a few choices to make. Keeping all of that in mind, this is the Everton squad that is expected to play City.
