It is not necessary to remind the Toffees of how difficult it will be to get a result at Etihad Stadium. After winning the Triple Crown the previous season, Pep Guardiola’s club is largely considered to be the finest in the world, and they are aiming for a fourth straight league championship.

Everton, on the other hand, is currently languishing in the relegation zone after losing ten points due to a violation of the profit and sustainability regulations. They are waiting to see if their punishment will be lessened after their appeal hearing.

Despite having a diminished squad, Sean Dyche’s team managed two brave draws against Fulham and Tottenham last week despite not having won in the top division since before Christmas.
