A Premier League footballer was reportedly arrested on the training pitch after being accused of recording a sex film without consent.
According to The Sun, cops led the mystery player away while his colleagues watched on. The arrest took at about 11 a.m. on Friday, January 10, and the suspect was questioned for around six hours.
A woman accused the football star of secretly filming their encounter after she supposedly indicated unequivocally that she did not consent to be filmed.
According to a source, the player’s teammates felt the arrest was a “prank”. They stated: “When two uniformed officers stepped onto the pitches during training, many stars believed it was a hoax. Everyone was in disbelief.
“The players’ mouths were open. Nobody was sure what was going on.
The star was eventually freed with no further action. Police stated in a statement that a guy in his 20s was arrested at an address on suspicion of voyeurism. It was decided that no further action will be pursued owing to insufficient evidence.
