Ambitious claim Nottingham Forest player keen on move to specific club – Feels weighted with bias
Galatasaray is reportedly interested in Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina, according to Turkish media. Elias Jelert, a Danish youth, was the only experienced right back the Super Lig team was able to sign during the last transfer window after Serge Aurier left.
The Nottingham Forest defender, who has shown promise for the Premier League team this season, is being pursued by Galatasaray, according to a Sabah report today. Galatasaray may try to make a bold move to capture Aina during this transfer window after turning down Forest’s bid for their forward Baris Alper Yilmaz. The player would reportedly be interested in Gala.
The Nigerian international’s contract is set to expire in the summer, according to the Turkish media outlet, but Nottingham Forest has the option to extend it for an additional season. They will probably utilize this option to prolong the 28-year-old’s stay for an additional 12 months, considering the impact he has had for the English team this season.
Gala will have a hard time recovering the €9 million they spent Copenhagen in the summer, but any move for Aina will also depend on getting rid of Jelert. This season, Aina has made 20 Premier League appearances and netted two goals. Galatasaray appears to have little chance, but after Nottingham Forest made an approach for Baris Alper Yilmaz, it could be some strange form of retaliation.
