Something is brewing…’ – Sky Sports pundit makes Rangers admission after what he saw at Ibrox

Kris Boyd has given his thoughts on Rangers and Celtic’s chances of winning the SPFL title, as well as Philippe Clement’s ability to change the atmosphere at Ibrox.

He has noted that there is a smile on everyone’s face at the home of Gers with their team right back into the title chase.

Despite losing the Old Firm, they have a game in hand on Brendan Rodgers’ team and are only three points behind them.

In an interview with Sky Sports on February 8, Boyd stated that winning football games builds confidence, something Rangers are currently experiencing.

“They had a bump in the road when they went to Celtic Park and got beat, but they got back on the horse and have gone again.

“Clement talks about turning up at Ibrox and everyone has a smile on their face. Everyone is expecting to win football matches at Rangers and the fans are right behind the team. They feel something is brewing.

“However, it all comes down to one thing and that is winning games of football. When that happens that is when the smiles come.

Rangers and Clement give Celtic reasons to fear

Boyd’s appraisal of Rangers’ comeback under Clement rings true, reinforcing the notion that something special is brewing at Ibrox.

Despite falling short against Celtic in the Old Firm, the Gers’ quick recovery and proximity to their opponents on the table indicate a credible title push.
Boyd accurately depicts the club’s infectious energy, with players, staff, and fans all encouraged by their recent performance.

Furthermore, Boyd’s recognition of the rarity of a genuine title competition in Scottish football emphasizes the importance of the club’s recovery.

For years, the Hoops’ supremacy allowed little room for suspense in the title race, but with the Ibrox club biting at their heels, the situation has changed drastically.
