Adam Idah always confident of scoring after late penalty earned win for Celtic

The on-loan Norwich forward had also scored from the spot earlier on in the 2-1 result against Hibernian.

After swatting aside the pressure to score a stoppage-time winner on his maiden Celtic start, Adam Idah talked about

his confidence from 12 yards.

The attacker on loan from Norwich had a spectacular debut, scoring penalties close to the beginning and conclusion

of a 2-1 victory over Hibernian.

After Kyogo Furuhashi’s late tackle gave Celtic a penalty, and Idah switched sides and sent former Hoops custodian

David Marshall the wrong way for the second time in the match, Celtic were destined to lose for the second straight

match.

The Republic of Ireland international stated: “I have taken penalties my entire career and didn’t think much of it. I

have a 100% record from the spot for club and country. I had enough faith that I would succeed.
