Worrall spent the 2018/19 season at Rangers before returning to Forest to assist them win Premier League promotion.

He continues to follow his former club and the intriguing title competition that is unfolding.

Celtic is presently three points ahead of Philippe Clement’s team. Adam Idah scored a last-gasp penalty to secure a 2-1 victory

over Hibs on Wednesday, keeping Rangers at bay for the time being.

Philippe Clement’s men have a game coming up. However, Scottish Cup business takes precedence this weekend, with the Light

Blues hosting Ayr United and Celtic traveling to Paisley to face St Mirren.

Worrall was asked on talkSPORT how he expects the title fight to proceed. He also nodded and winked at his former side.

He stated: “I am constantly keeping an eye on the Gers. I have several pals up there.

“I thoroughly loved my time up there. Some extremely nice recollections. They have successfully recruited. The management has changed since I was there, but they have made consistent growth over time.

“Celtic are a major driving force right now.” But I wouldn’t count Rangers out just yet.”
