Rangers hero spots ‘daylight robbery’ in late Celtic theatrics as he pulls no punches with scathing verdict

Rangers hero spots ‘daylight robbery’ in late Celtic theatrics as he pulls no punches with scathing verdict.

According to Rangers veteran Kris Boyd, Celtic managed to win despite falling short of expectations against Hibs.

The former striker was a Sky Sports pundit as the Hoops secured a close 2-1 Premiership victory at Easter Road. Two Adam Idah

penalties, one in the first ten minutes and the other in second half stoppage time, were enough to cancel out Dylan Levitt’s second-half equaliser.

Rangers could have led the Premiership with a game in hand had they not dropped points for the eighth time this season.

Celtic regained a three-goal lead, leaving Philippe Clement’s team with only a goal difference advantage.

Boyd, on the other hand, was unimpressed, claiming that the Hoops were a far cry from the peaks they had established in recent

years, which included numerous trophies. Their next Scottish Cup match is away to St Mirren.

He stated, “In any game, you want to win three points, but make no mistake, Celtic got away with one tonight.”

“He (Idah) has come up, and a lot of people were questioning him before he came up, but to score major penalties in the way he did, credit to him.

“When you win a game, everything changes around you, and you believe you were dominant, yet Celtic fell far short of the

standards they set during the previous two years. “It was daylight robbery, and they got away with it tonight.”
