Todd Cantwell sends two-word message to Rangers teammate after what happened in win v Aberdeen

Todd Cantwell sends two-word message to Fabio Silva after Rangers 2-1 win v Aberdeen.

Following Rangers’ 2-1 victory against Aberdeen, Todd Cantwell delivered a two-word message to his Ibrox teammate Fabio Silva.

Glasgow took all three points in the Scottish Premiership match at Ibrox on Tuesday (6 February).

Rabbi Matondo and Cantwell scored for the home team, which also saw replacement Dujon Sterling sent off, while Bojan Miovski netted for the visitors.

Cantwell, a star midfielder, celebrated the triumph by posting an Instagram photo of himself and Silva with the remark, “Let’s go.”

Rangers grind out win

Rangers manager Philippe Clement will be overjoyed with the victory, which demonstrated that his players are truly ready to battle this season.

Matondo gave the hosts the lead in the seventh minute, but Miovski equalized just before halftime.

That goal would have radically altered Clement’s half-time team talk, as the manager needed to motivate his players for a big second half.

That was certainly the case, with Cantwell winning the game in the 72nd minute, though the hosts had a tight finish due to Sterling’s late red card.

The result brings the Ibrox club equal on 58 points with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings, with the latter leading only on goal difference.

But, fortunately for Clement and his squad, they will still have a game in hand on the Bhoys after facing Hibernian at Easter Road on Wednesday.
