Plymouth eyes Cercle Brugge’s Miron Muslić as next coach
According to Fabrizio Romano, Miron Muslić, who is represented by Slovenia’s Pro Transfer agency, is set to take
Wayne Rooney’s place as Plymouth Argyle’s coach.
Plymouth Argyle has chosen to part ways with iconic former star Wayne Rooney as they fight to stay in the
Championship and escape relegation. The team is currently looking for a coach to rekindle their survival effort, as
they are only three points outside the safety zone.
Iron Muslić, a 42-year-old coach with a strong resume, is the front-runner to succeed him, according to Fabrizio
Romano. Muslić was born in Bihać and grew up in Austria. He has a solid reputation as a tactician and is best known
for developing young players and guiding Cercle Brugge to their first European appearance.
Muslić’s rise has drawn a lot of attention, but what’s most intriguing is that he is associated with Pro Transfer, a
Slovenian agency that also represents two of Slovenia’s top players, Jan Oblak and Benjamin Šeško.
Before relocating to Belgium, where he flourished with Cercle Brugge, Muslić began his coaching career with Ried in
Austria. He might be the ideal choice to lead Plymouth Argyle out of the relegation zone because of his reputation for
helping players grow and instilling a dynamic playing style.
