This Is What Ibrox Used To Be Like – Former Scotland Star Senses Something.

Former Scotland defender Willie Miller has stated that the electric atmosphere inside Ibrox indicates that the fans believe in the Rangers club, which is performing well under Philippe Clement.

Rangers fans generated a rowdy environment at Ibrox on Tuesday night, propelling the club to a 2-1 victory over Aberdeen.

The Glasgow giants are currently level on points with Celtic at the top of the league table, with momentum building in the title chase.

Miller admitted that he hasn’t seen this level of atmosphere at Ibrox in a long time, and that it’s similar to what it was like for opponents to play Rangers away.

He argued that the loud backing of the home fans indicates that the Ibrox faithful believe they have a fine club that will only improve.

Miller told BBC Radio Scotland that Ibrox is no longer the same as it once was.

“Whenever I’ve come down, generally when Aberdeen comes to visit, the atmosphere hasn’t been as electric as it was tonight.

“I was quite surprised by how loud it was, and there is a sense in the stands that this is a good team.”

“And they are getting better.”

Rangers will try to continue on their momentum and progress in the Scottish Cup when they face Ayr.
