The pressure is on the Hoops to spend big money, and they may do so this summer when the transfer window reopens.If Celtic wants to sign Paulo Bernardo and Adam Idah to long-term contracts, they will have to invest almost £9 million.A banner criticizing the board was released by Hoops supporters during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Aberdeen. They have come under fire for their perceived lack of investment in the transfer market.

Last month, Nicolas Kuhn joined Rapid Vienna, and Idah arrived on loan from Norwich City, a team in the English Championship. However, two of their loanees could make summer moves.Bernardo joined from Benfica in the summer on a season-long contract. The Daily Record claims that although the midfielder is scheduled to return to Portugal in the summer, he is “warm” to the prospect of staying in Glasgow permanently.It says you’ll need to pay a large price to obtain him. ‘The door is open to press for permanent agreements’ on Bernardo and Idah. The 22-year-old will cost approximately £6 million.

If the Hornets decide to sign him permanently, it is expected that his contract will set them back more than £3 million.With Oh at the Asian Cup in January, Brendan Rodgers had only Kyogo as his senior striker option. This month, the South Korean star and Daizen Maeda, who is expected to return from the important tournament in Qatar, will strengthen the forward line.
