Aston Villa eyeing move for “Talented” player who Unai Emery recommends

In the past 12 months, Aston Villa has made tremendous progress in the Premier League and off the field, setting

Smith Rowe

new records for manager Unai Emery’s team.

The Midlands team is currently only four points behind league champions Arsenal and is ranked third in the league.

Villa’s next match is against the Gunners, and there’s a very real chance they might reach the top of the tree before Christmas. The Villans may benefit even more from the January transfer window, as one team is supposedly considering offers for a long-term goal of theirs, who may further strengthen Emery’s team.

Aston Villa Transfer Rumor

During the summer transfer window, Villa welcomed players like Moussa Diaby, Pau Torres, and

Nicolo Zaniolo, who helped Emery’s team get to where they are now.

Given that Villa Park was able to bring in perhaps one of the top players in the Bundesliga at the time, Diaby’s arrival served as a particularly striking example of how far the team has progressed in recent years.

They could now demonstrate their progress once more in an attempt to get a Premier League player.

According to Football Transfers, Aston Villa are still interested in a move to sign

Emile Smith Rowe, who Arsenal are now open to offers for. Smith Rowe’s injury history has seen his game time reduced at

the Emirates, as Martin Odegaard and others arrived to steal the spotlight initially fixated on him and Bukayo Saka.

It remains to be seen whether Villa make an offer for the Hale End graduate, but it’s certainly a positive for them that the Gunners are now willing to listen to bids for their midfielder.

“Talented” Smith Rowe must make Aston Villa move

Even though it could be tough to leave your childhood team, Smith Rowe needs minutes badly at this point in his career, which Aston Villa might supply. After a terrible stretch of battling with numerous injury setbacks, the 23-year-old is in danger of being forgotten about as a star at The Emirates.Given their familiarity from the Spainard’s time in north London, Smith Rowe’s injury history may worry Emery, but if Villa advances, he might just have to have faith in the Englishman’s abilities when healthy.

Before suffering so many injuries, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta had nothing but admiration for Smith Rowe.

Arteta said this following the Gunners’ October 2021 victory against Aston Villa:

“He deserves praise, as does the team who constantly watch over him and help him with his education. With their continued support, he will only become better. He is capable of accomplishing it, thus he should demand it in his game.

That’s progressing, and that makes me happy. He still has other areas in which he has to grow.

“He wasn’t fully fit the other night, but he still went forward and expressed his desire to play despite having a challenging injury. He has been excellent; he doesn’t whine, he just looks forward, he is very driven, and he has slightly altered his lifestyle and some of his old habits.”
