Nottingham Forest want to repeat 2024 deal to sign gem who plays in same position as Neco Williams

With the club’s recruitment efforts throughout the summer transfer window proving to be highly successful, quality will once again be more important than quantity. David Carmo and Marko Stamenic, two of Forest’s eleven summer additions, will be joining Olympiacos on loan for the 2024–2025 season.

After six consecutive victories, including a 3-0 victory over Wolves on Monday night at Molineux, the Reds are now third in the Premier League standings. After beginning the scoring, Morgan Gibbs-White let out a furious celebration, while Taiwo Awoniyi and Chris Wood also left their names on the scoreboard. Igor Jesus has previously been connected to Forest this month, but it seems the team is trying to bolster more than just their assault.

Taylan Bulut is wanted by Nottingham Forest.

Forest’s desire for a German right-back who is still in his teens is reminiscent of the Reds’ summer transfer window acquisition of Eric da Silva Moreira. Moreira has made a few appearances for the team, and after making his debut against Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, Nuno Espirito Santo raved about him. According to Bild, Forest is now interested in signing Schalke defender Bulut, who is 18 years old and can also play center back.

Bulut progressed through the Leverkusen ranks until being dismissed at the age of 14. Schalke then offered him a chance. Bulut, who has made 14 appearances and scored one goal for the senior ranks this season, has advanced to regular first-team action. Schalke is expected to give the teenager a new deal worth about £400,000 per year, although both Forest and Bournemouth are considering approaches for the defender.

Bulut might be Forest’s future star.

Despite the temptation to spend the match on top recruits to increase their chances of qualifying for the Champions League, it’s encouraging that Forest isn’t ignoring their future ambitions. The Reds signed Moreira in the summer with an eye toward the future, and they may be eager to dip into this market given the interest from Bulut. Although the versatile defender mostly plays right-back, he has demonstrated in the past that he can also play central defense when necessary. It is extremely improbable that Forest will sign Bulut right now with the presence of Ola Aina, Neco Williams, and even Moreira in the Forest ranks. In the short term, though, he would have plenty of chances to play for the B-Team, and like Moreira, a strong preseason could earn him a spot at Forest the following season.
