On Saturday, February 3, the former Norwich City player scored the third and last goal for his team, helping the Gers to a 3-0 victory.
In the Scottish Premiership match at Ibrox, Rabbi Matondo and Wolves loanee Silva both found the scoresheet.
After sharing pictures of his goal and celebrations on Instagram, Cantwell received messages from a number of people, including Silva, who scored the team’s first goal in the victory.
Rangers cruise to Ibrox win
Rangers boss Philippe Clement would have aggressively cautioned his players not to get complacent despite Livingston’s miserable season.
An upset was expected given that the game was being played at Ibrox and that the visitors were in dire need of points, but the hosts made sure that didn’t happen.
