When Ronaldo commits to a transfer 27 years after THAT signing offer, he and the Rangers reunite.

The Ecuadorian midfielder, who joined Ibrox last summer from Los Angeles FC, has been an expensive bust and looks destined to leave.

The legendary Brazilian Ronaldo has pledged to sign Rangers star Jose Cifuentes the next week as a gift to supporters before of the renowned Rio Carnival.

After been a costly bust since joining Ibrox this summer from Los Angeles FC in the Major League Soccer, the Ecuadorian midfielder is destined to depart. The Brazilian team Cruzeiro, owned by one of the best players in history, Ronaldo, is looking for Cifuentes.

27 years after THAT amazing signing offer, the former Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan star would once again come into contact with the Ibrox men if a move were to occur. Ronaldo clarified in the summer of 1997, saying, “Yes, it’s true that Glasgow Rangers made me an offer. I apologized; after considering it, we determined that Inter Milan had made the best offer at the moment. Ronaldo, the two-time Ballon d’Or winner, invested £60 million in Cruzeiro, his first Brazilian team, in Belo Horizonte. However, since taking control, he has faced criticism from their supporters for not making many transfers.

He has, however, vowed that they will have two new players before next Friday, when the nation celebrates and Rio de Janeiro’s renowned carnival begins. He informed the crowd: “There will be two new players at the club next week in time for the Carnival!”

Additionally, reports from South America claim that they will be defender Lucas Villalba, whose contract with Argentino Juniors expires, and Cifuentes, probably on a season-long loan with a buyout option.

Cifuentes declined Rizespor’s offer to relocate to Turkey. Brazil’s window for transfers closes at the end of month.
