Celtic reach full agreement to sign “impressive” new striker

Following Rodgers’ return, the Hoops had a busy summer as several new players arrived at Celtic Park. This month, the Hoops have added just one player to their roster: Nicolas Kuhn, a winger from Rapid Vienna. Despite recent complaints from the stand, Rodgers’ team is leading the battle for another Scottish Premiership title on the field.

As a result, Celtic chiefs appear to be dipping into the market with just hours remaining of the window for a new striker, but it isn’t Sydney van Hooijdonk.

Celtic make Adam Idah transfer breakthrough

According to Football Insider reporter Pete O’Rourke, Celtic have agreed a deal to sign Adam Idah from Norwich City, with a medical already underway.

Adam Idah, a striker for Celtic, has agreed to a contract with Norwich City, and on Wednesday, he will have a medical in London, according to sources who spoke to Football Insider. The 22-year-old is rumored to have begun medical testing in advance of his loan transfer to Parkhead.

“A comprehensive agreement has been reached between the Hoops and the Canaries, allowing the Republic of Ireland international to join for the balance of the season. Football Insider was informed by reliable sources that Idah is eager to move to the Scottish league leaders this month.
