Rangers make late £5m+ January transfer demand for Ridvan Yilmaz.
Rangers have increased their asking price for Ridvan Yilmaz to £5.1 million after his recent promotion to the starting XI at Ibrox, according to Spor Arena.
According to the Turkish news site, Galatasaray is still hunting for a left-back, with Yilmaz at the top of their list, although their biggest offer was a £426,000 loan fee with a £2.56 million buyout option.
According to reports, Yilmaz has been promised playing time by the Istanbul-based club in order to make the Turkey Euros team, with Gala representatives reportedly attempting to persuade Rangers to let him go.
Rangers could keep him after all
Yilmaz’s future at Ibrox has been one of the key talking points of this transfer window, with speculation rife since the beginning of the month, but it now appears he may stay for the long term after all.
