Leeds will have begun forming their specific plans for the upcoming year, as there is not much time left before the January window.

Leeds doesn’t need to make many additions during the winter transfer window, but an offensive midfielder would be a good fit.

Leeds to sign David Turnbull?

John Hartson, a former striker for Celtic and Arsenal, thinks Leeds should look to David Turnbull, an offensive midfielder for Celtic.

Hartson discussed his chances of landing a job shortly with Go Radio.

His performance in the Scottish Premiership has drawn attention recently.

David Turnbull is likeable. He is a midfield player who can score goals, as I have always stated.

He provides you with an additional 10–14 goals annually from midfield.

“I see him joining Leeds United or another elite Championship team.”

Who is David Turnbull?

Turnbull, a 24-year-old attacking midfielder by trade, is currently enjoying a great season at Celtic, having

scored seven goals in the league from his first 12 games.

The Scotland international’s contract expires in the summer of 2024, therefore there is a great deal

of uncertainty around his future following The Sun’s allegation that he is unlikely to sign new terms before January.

There has already been some interest from the Serie A, who may engage him on a pre-contract arrangement starting on January

Instead of Joel Piroe playing as a second striker, Leeds might choose an attacking

midfielder who is more suited for the position.

While Piroe is performing admirably right now, it appears that we need an alternative

choice because Ian Poveda is suddenly surplus to needs.

Tunrbull would provide Leeds with a player who is more than capable of competing in the Championship and scoring goals for the team.
