Swansea City next manager: Interesting claim made over former Leeds United and Bradford City man.

Alan Sheehan, a former Leeds United and Bradford City defender, might take over at Swansea City, according to one analyst.

Sheehan is on his second stint as Swansea’s caretaker manager, taking over after Luke Williams’ sacking.

He succeeded Michael Duff, who was recently let go by Huddersfield Town.

Sheehan has received support from Swansea players and has not led the team to defeat in his three games as manager.

Alan Sheehan is in temporary charge of Swansea City.
Don Goodman, a Sky Sports analyst, believes Sheehan would accept the post if granted the appropriate conditions.

He told Football League World that Alan Sheehan, who is currently in charge, has a fantastic record of two wins and one tie in three games.

“You have to question yourself how appealing a job it is considering the previous few seasons, frankly. There appears to have been a lack of ambition.

Alan Sheehan represented Leeds United in his playing days.

“They have a new director of football, I believe, in Richard Montague, so he has some big decisions to make.

“I believe, reading between the lines, Alan Sheehan would accept it if everything was in order, there were long-term plans for the future, and they had decided on a course of action.

“At the moment, you have to say, given how well he has done, he may possibly be the best bet, given that it is not the most attractive of jobs at this moment in time.”

Swansea are 16th in the Championship table, 11 points clear of the relegation zone but 12 points outside the play-offs.
