Three firefighters from two fire stations in Cornwall have been suspended from duties, Cornwall Council has confirmed.
CornwallLive was informed that the suspensions relate to behaviour on a night out and then back at a firestation.
Two of the firefighters being probed are from the Truro station while the third is from Falmouth Fire Station.

The local authority would not go into details about the allegations or even confirm when the three firefighters were suspended. All it said was that an internal investigation is currently underway. Cornwall Council did not want to say how long their suspension is expected to last or whether the three firefighters remain on full pay or not.
The suspension comes a mere three months after two firefighters were also suspended from Launceston over allegations of inappropriate use of a private WhatsApp group.

Two years ago five firefighters from Lostwithiel fire station were sacked over the inappropriate use of a private WhatsApp group used for work purposes with bullying, racism and pornography cited as being among the reasons for the decision.
Their offensive “banter” included pictures of breasts and vaginas as well as sex toys and other explicit images and racist language among messages from at least two WhatsApp groups set up by the crews at Lostwithiel fire station. The episode, exposed exclusively by CornwallLive, became the subject of an 18-month disciplinary investigation by Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service and eventually led to the sacking of five firefighters.
At the time, Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it would review its working practices when it comes to providing a suitable platform for work-related communications and training. Two years ago questions were asked about whether the local authority would provide clear and workable guidance to staff about the boundaries between work and private life.
The message from the person who contacted us about the suspension of two firefighters at Launceston hinted that such guidance and training may not have been provided and lessons from the Lostwithiel incident were not learned.
All a spokesman for Cornwall Council would say about the latest suspensions, was: “Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service can confirm three firefighters, two from Truro Fire Station and one from Falmouth Fire Station, are currently suspended while investigations are conducted.”
