Everton eyeing ‘extraordinary’ striker who Rafael Benitez wanted for £70m, he’s now available for half price

In the upcoming months, David Moyes may witness a significant transformation in his team.

Due to the fact that several players’ contracts are expiring before the summer, many players may be leaving Finch Farm.

Although he has received a lot of attention from clubs throughout Europe, Jarrad Branthwaite has stated that he will remain at Everton.

In addition to the contract issues, Everton is facing significant challenges this season due to injuries, which is a major cause for concern up front.

One of Rafael Benitez’s 2021 ambitions seems to be a possibility once more for the Toffees with arrangements being made for the summer transfer window.

Everton showing interest in Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic

After being given the chance to lead the front line under Moyes, Beto has made a significant impact for Everton.

Over the summer, though, the Toffees will probably require additional reinforcements.

GiveMeSport claims that Everton might get a great deal on Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

Due to Thiago Motta depriving the attacker of starts in recent weeks, the Serbian international has struggled in Turin this season.

Juventus is reportedly seeking a price of around £35 million for a possible summer sale.

They might, however, agree to a fee as low as £25 million. There is still a strong desire for the Blues to bolster their roster before the upcoming season, even though those early difficulties have subsided. Moyes wanted Everton to recruit a new forward in January since the Toffees truly struggled in front of goal under Sean Dyche.

Rafael Benitez wanted Everton to sign Vlahovic for £70m

Vlahovic, 25, has been praised as “extraordinary” and has a lot of potential to improve his game. “We have an extraordinary relationship. He has a strong character and mentality,” Motta said. “Today [February 24], he showed great professionalism and helped his teammates. It’s easy to manage a champion like him.” Benitez wanted to bring Vlahovic to Everton back in 2021 before he moved from Fiorentina to Juventus. At the time, the £70 million striker was in high demand throughout Europe, and several of the top Premier League teams were interested in the player.

With barely over a year left on his Juventus contract, the Blues might score a true steal after just a few years.
