BREAKING NEWS: ‘Eddie Howe to replace Thomas Tuchel with England after Newcastle sack’.
Eddie Howe is not likely to stay at Newcastle for long because the club’s owners’ ambitious expectations will see him out of a job soon, according to Simon Jordan.
Howe will attempt to put an end to the Magpies’ long wait for a major trophy on Sunday (16 March), when they meet Premier League leaders Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley. Despite this, Jordan feels that the club’s Saudi Arabian owners, the PIF, have bigger goals than just winning the domestic cup. As a result, he believes Howe will not be with Newcastle for long, and he has already planned his next move if he is fired by the conclusion of next season.

Simon Jordan makes prediction over Eddie Howe’s Newcastle future
Under Howe, the North East team qualified for the Champions League in 2023, but did not qualify for this season’s campaign. Despite being forced to sell due to PSR constraints in the summer, Howe has Newcastle competing for a European position again this season.
Even so, there are no assurances that he will succeed, and Howe is thought to be under pressure at Newcastle ahead of the Carabao Cup final, despite having the board’s approval. Regardless, Jordan believes that the club’s owners’ goals will surpass what the 47-year-old can offer the organisation. At that moment, the former Crystal Palace chairman believes Howe might step in to replace Thomas Tuchel as England manager, with the German only slated to take over later this month.
Jordan stated on talkSPORT that if Newcastle do not qualify for Europe this season, he believes Howe is a gatekeeper. “Ultimately, what I mean is that it’s very improbable that the goal, the very lofty ambition of the Saudis, who didn’t acquire Newcastle to win the League Cup, they bought Newcastle so that they could win the Premier League and win the Champions League, and they will take the League Cup in the meantime, because it means so much to the fans.
“But my sense was that Eddie could always be a very valuable and deserving (from a) rewarded aspect of achieving something at Newcastle, which is getting a successful side, getting a team that’s really competitive in the Premier League that people genuinely enjoy watching. But will he win something for Newcastle?
