The Old Mill in Salisbury has confirmed its opening date and some big future plans.
The Old Mill in Harnham has been closed since the end of January as the previous owners decided to sell up after only two and a half years in charge.
Revealing on Facebook, The Old Mill confirmed that it will be open this Wednesday, March 5.
In a Facebook post, they said: “We will still have bits and pieces going on behind the scenes and a lot more to do to be fully operational.
“But the beer will be flowing, and our new head chef Andre will be cooking up a storm from Wednesday onwards.
There have been problems with the pub’s car park in recent years, but in a separate Facebook post, The Old Mill said: “I’m sure you’ll all be very pleased to know that we have terminated the agreement with the company that was looking after the car park situation.
“We have heard numerous stories of people inputting their details and still being sent tickets through the post. That’s the last thing we want to happen.
“There will be another system being implemented with a much more foolproof way of making sure it is only customers using our car park.”
The pub will keep its hotel rooms open and will launch a new pizza and small plate menu later this month.
The booking system will be available starting Monday, March 3, along with all menus and drink options.
“We will bring a passion for making the Old Mill the best it can be. A huge thank you to all of the team who have been working really hard behind the scenes to get everything back in shape.
We will be introducing all of our team to you over the coming days, and hopefully, you will show them a warm welcome.”
