New date for Town’s trip to Cherries next month means an even longer break for Blues.

Ipswich Town’s trip to Bournemouth next month has been pushed back a day, giving them an even longer respite between games. The Blues will now go to the Cherries for a Premier League game on Wednesday, April 2, at 7.45pm. The match was supposed to be played the day before, but it was rescheduled due to Bournemouth’s participation in the FA Cup quarterfinals. SIGN-UP! Get two months of ALL our Town content for just £2! After hosting Nottingham Forest next Saturday (March 15th), they will not play again before their trip to the Cherries. That means Kieran McKenna’s side will have 17 days between games before playing two in four days – a trip to Bournemouth and a potentially season-defining home encounter against relegation rivals Wolves on Saturday, April 5th.
