Following a severe incident this morning (Thursday), drivers are being advised to stay away from Luton’s center. According to Bedfordshire Police, they are currently on the scene of an accident on Crawley Green Road. Roads have been blocked at Hart Lane, close to Crawley Green Road and Somerset Avenue, and at the entrance to Vauxhall Way, the force stated.
Following a three-vehicle collision that necessitated the response of an air ambulance, two highways have been closed. Around 07:45 GMT, Caddington, which is close to Luton, closed Woodside Road and Luton Road. According to Bedfordshire Police, “a number of people” were hospitalized following the crash. “The road is likely to remain closed for some time and drivers are asked to take an alternative route,” stated a spokesperson.
