Hearts latest from Riccarton: A scan and specialist visit plus updates on four players.

Head coach Neil Critchley addressed before of the Scottish Cup quarterfinals versus Dundee. Cammy Devlin, a Hearts midfielder, has had a scan and seen a specialist to look into signs of a delayed concussion. The Australian’s mind was at ease, and he returned to the Riccarton training pitches on Thursday, albeit simply for a run rather than a full session. Devlin has been sidelined since suffering a concussion against St Mirren in last month’s Scottish Cup fifth round. Hearts claimed that he was experiencing headaches while following concussion protocol, so medical personnel decided to seek a second opinion ahead of Friday’s quarterfinal against Dundee.Neil Critchley, Hearts’ head coach, also announced progress for four additional injured players: midfielder Aidan Denholm, defender Frankie Kent, Craig Halkett, and Stephen Kingsley. “Cammy Devlin won’t make it,” Critchley confirmed. “He got a scan yesterday, went to see a specialist, and we received wonderful news. He was back on the pitch today, sprinting, but this game will end shortly. Everyone else is fine, and Yan Dhanda is fit. So, other from Frankie Kent, Halkett, Kingsley, and Denholm, everyone is well. They are making improvements as well. Frankie, Halks, Kings, and Aidan Denholm all came out for their first sessions this week. They’re all back out on the pitch, running. They’re getting closer, but it will still be a few weeks away.”
